about
"I want to show you something." Our host tells us, and brings us to a costume shop in the back of the venue. She opens up a vault and starts pulling out vintage fur coats, laying them on a large table for us to see. "These were all Marilyn Monroe's fur coats... used in movies, photoshoots etc." The spell of intrigue was set, and my mind began wondering.... How does one preserve the glamour and the magic that a persona like Marilyn Monroe brought into the world.. and how can we gift that sort of magic to a loved one? How is it that memories and are so powerful yet completely intangible. These fur coats are just symbols. The sound waves from this song are intangible. This cover art is a symbol. This song is another trinket for you to add to your own pocket of dreams.
